Essie Means Business - Spring 2012 Collection
Nail polish is totally trending in the world of fashion these days. Designers and at-home DIYers alike are experimenting with bold colors and colorfully complex combinations.
But perhaps it's time nail polish took a page from the world of high finance, no? With well-suited (yes, pun intended) names like "A Crewed Interest" and "Tour de Finance" Essie claims to be paying homage to "the beautiful ambitious women of action." I can dig that.

Furry Winter Accessories
I'm not usually a fur person but for some reason I've recently been inspired by the fuzzy, warm softness that they bring.
I'm not exactly sure how appropriate or not so appropriate fur is in an office setting but most of these items are for outwear so at least you can leave the PETA protestors in the office lobby...I kid, I kid. These items are all faux fur. I love the animals.

How to Organize Your Work Bag
New Year's resolutions are still ripe on people's minds. Not quite a resolution but one of the things that I've always struggled
with in terms of improvement areas in my life is organization - and by this I
mean physically keeping things in their place. I'm pretty good at mentally
organizing concepts, understanding what I need to get done and prioritizing my work but don't take a look inside my work bag. Two words: bomb
explosion.
By the end of the week my bag - which is tasked with the
difficult job of holding my laptop (and it's accessories - mouse, charger),
various work documents, small notebook, wallet, small makeup bag, pens, lip
gloss, gum, etc etc etc - looks a hot mess. Usually these things sort of meld together in the
large compartment.
In this previous post Does the Perfect Laptop Bag Exist I
discussed how my iPhone often finds itself in the "bag black hole" and that I often find myself freaking out because I think I've lost it. So imagine my
delight when I discovered solutions to help organize the mess within my current
bag.
Bag organizers, who woulda thought? I recently found these lovely and very affordable ones from invite.L.

Looking Forward to Spring with Colored Suits
A few days ago I featured the color white as a way to brighten up a winter wardrobe but while online window shopping I was inspired by these colorful suits.
These suits, all from Shopbop.com, are a bright statement when worn in their complete 2-piece glory. But can also liven up an outfit when separately worn. I love the monochrome theme of these select suits.

Winter Whites
With temperatures steadily dropping in the Northeast I'm relying on chunky sweaters, cardigans, multiple layers and thick stockings to get me through the frigidness.
I'm still wearing bright colors to brighten things up this winter and nothing's brighter than white. Here are some pieces that I'd love to add to my work wear selection.
